After being developed in a game jam in 2020, Friday Night Funkin' was released to the public as a free-to-play rhythm game. The game combines excellent rhythm-game mechanics with gorgeous visuals, a slew of nostalgic cameos from the early days of the internet, and some seriously catchy tunes. This reminds me of old school video games like Parappa the Rapper and Flash Flash Revolution.

Because it is an open-source project, Friday Night Funkin' can be easily modified, and its creators even encourage it. Since then, many high-quality add-ons have been made and released for the game. Today, we'll take a look at the top ten Friday Night Funkin' mods of all time, highlighting the creative use of audio and video.

Paul DiSalvo last revised this article on October 3, 2021. The truly incredible quantity of mods that are always being made means that players can find mods for fnf mod that satisfy a range of itch.

While some add depth to the experience with additions like fully animated cutscenes, others alter the game's mechanics to the point that it no longer seems like the same game, altering not only the visual style and soundtrack but also the main gameplay.
